Wer beispielsweise in der Gastronomie gearbeitet hat, ist häufig mit festen Abläufen, Zeitdruck, Hygienevorgaben und wechselnden Arbeitszeiten vertraut. Im Einzelhandel gehören Warenannahme, Bestandskontrolle, das Einräumen von Produkten und der Umgang mit Scannern möglicherweise zum Alltag. In handwerklichen oder landwirtschaftlichen Tätigkeiten spielen der sichere Umgang mit Werkzeugen, körperliche Belastbarkeit und das Erkennen von Störungen oft eine wichtige Rolle.

Übertragbare Fähigkeiten sichtbar machen

Viele Quereinsteigerinnen und Quereinsteiger unterschätzen ihre beruflichen Erfahrungen, weil diese aus einer anderen Branche stammen. Hilfreich ist eine einfache Frage: Welche Anforderungen aus der Stellenanzeige kenne ich bereits aus meinem bisherigen Arbeitsalltag?

Aus „Ich habe im Supermarkt gearbeitet“ kann beispielsweise werden: „Ich habe Lieferungen angenommen, Waren kontrolliert und Bestände gepflegt.“ Aus einer Tätigkeit in der Küche lässt sich ableiten: „Ich bin an klare Hygienevorgaben, abgestimmte Arbeitsabläufe und Arbeit unter Zeitdruck gewöhnt.“ Wer Pakete zugestellt hat, bringt möglicherweise Erfahrung mit Tourenplanung, Scannern, Ladung und selbstständigem Arbeiten mit.

Auch unbezahlte oder kürzere Erfahrungen können relevant sein. Dazu zählen Praktika, Nebenjobs, Vereinsarbeit oder private Projekte – etwa Reparaturen, Umzüge oder die Organisation von Material. Sie sollten jedoch klar benennen, in welchem Rahmen und Umfang Sie diese Tätigkeiten ausgeübt haben. Eine Übersicht über verschiedene Möglichkeiten der 

beruflichen Neuorientierung und des Quereinstiegs

Wo Einarbeitung möglich ist – und wo Nachweise zählen

Ob eine Stelle tatsächlich für Personen ohne Branchenerfahrung geeignet ist, sollte jedoch immer aus der Ausschreibung oder einem Gespräch hervorgehen.

Andere Aufgaben erfordern nachweisbare Kenntnisse. Das kann etwa für das Führen bestimmter Flurförderzeuge, spezielle Schweißarbeiten, Elektroarbeiten oder die Bedienung komplexer Anlagen gelten. Auch ein Führerschein, bestimmte Sprachkenntnisse oder Erfahrung mit einem Warenwirtschaftssystem können verlangt werden.

Solche Anforderungen sollten Sie nicht überspielen. Unterscheiden Sie stattdessen zwischen drei Kategorien: Was können Sie bereits selbstständig? Womit hatten Sie erste Berührungspunkte? Was müssten Sie neu lernen? Diese Einordnung wirkt nachvollziehbarer als eine pauschale Aussage, Sie könnten „alles schnell lernen“.

Da Voraussetzungen und Nachweise je nach Tätigkeit, Betrieb und Land unterschiedlich ausfallen können, lassen sich keine allgemeinen Zusagen treffen. Fragen Sie nach, wenn in einer Ausschreibung unklar bleibt, ob eine Qualifikation verpflichtend ist oder im Rahmen der Einarbeitung erworben werden kann

Für einen Quereinstieg muss Ihr Lebenslauf nicht so wirken, als hätten Sie bereits jahrelang in der Branche gearbeitet. Er sollte vielmehr zeigen, welche Erfahrungen anschlussfähig sind und warum Sie die Arbeitsbedingungen realistisch einschätzen können.

Diese Fragen helfen bei der Vorbereitung:

Formulieren Sie möglichst konkret. „Kontrolle eingehender Lieferungen anhand der Begleitpapiere“ vermittelt mehr als „Erfahrung im Lager“. „Bedienung eines Handscanners zur Erfassung von Waren“ ist aussagekräftiger als „gute technische Kenntnisse“.

Wenn ein klassischer Lebenslauf Ihre Fähigkeiten nur unzureichend abbildet, können Sie diese auch in einem strukturierten 

 sammeln. Entscheidend bleibt, dass Tätigkeiten, Kenntnisse und Erfahrungsniveau korrekt beschrieben sind

Ein möglicher Quereinstieg hängt nicht allein von Ihren Fähigkeiten ab. Ebenso wichtig sind die tatsächlichen Arbeitsbedingungen. In Produktion und Logistik können Schichtzeiten, Lärm, Schutzkleidung, wiederkehrende Bewegungen, körperliche Belastung oder wechselnde Temperaturen zum Arbeitsalltag gehören. Das trifft nicht auf jede Stelle zu, sollte aber vorab geklärt werden.

Prüfen Sie deshalb auch, ob Arbeitszeiten, Arbeitsweg und körperliche Anforderungen zu Ihrer persönlichen Situation passen. Fragen Sie im Gespräch beispielsweise nach typischen Schichten, Pausen, Einarbeitung, Hebetätigkeiten, Arbeitsplatzwechseln und den genutzten Arbeitsmitteln. Damit zeigen Sie nicht nur Interesse, sondern verschaffen sich eine realistische Entscheidungsgrundlage

In temporary staffing, a staffing agency acts as the contractual employer, and the assigned professionals work on-site at the client company. Temporary staffing is a sensible option for specific flexible needs, but it is not a one-size-fits-all solution for every challenge.

A key consideration is the authorization for temporary staffing. Employers and staffing agencies must comply with the associated obligations. Important: The logic of temporary staffing and that of an EOR cannot be equated for employment in Germany without examining the specific case.
